Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of TaxFair.net (the "Service"). By registering an account or using the ledger, calculator, or AI Tax Agent, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What TaxFair.net is

TaxFair.net is an independent, self-service planning and estimation tool for tracking income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, and for generating an estimated income tax liability based on published FBR slab rates. It is not affiliated with the Federal Board of Revenue, does not connect to IRIS, and does not file returns on your behalf.

Not tax advice. Nothing on this Service — including figures produced by the calculator, the wealth reconciliation panel, or the AI Tax Agent — constitutes professional tax, legal, or financial advice. Confirm your actual liability and filing obligations with a registered tax practitioner or FBR before relying on any figure shown here for a real filing decision.

2. Accounts and eligibility

3. Free and Premium membership

The core ledger, slab calculator, and wealth reconciliation panel are available to all registered members at no cost. The AI Tax Agent (conversational chat grounded in your own ledger data) is a Premium feature. Membership tier is managed on our side; to request an upgrade, contact us via the Contact page. We reserve the right to change what is included in Free versus Premium tiers going forward, with reasonable notice on the site.

4. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the ledger entries and information you submit. By using the AI Tax Agent, you agree that your messages and relevant ledger figures may be processed by a third-party AI provider to generate a response, as described in our Privacy Policy. Don't submit anyone else's personal or financial information without their permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: attempt to access another member's account or data; interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure; scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell access to the Service; use the Service to store or process information unrelated to your own tax planning; or use the admin-facing features unless you are an authorized administrator.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is." Tax slab rates, surcharge thresholds, and calculation logic are updated on a best-effort basis to reflect current Finance Act rules, but we make no guarantee that every figure is current, complete, or free of error at any given moment. You are responsible for verifying any figure before relying on it for an actual filing or financial decision.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaxFair.net and its operators are not liable for any loss, penalty, or damage arising from reliance on estimates, calculations, or reconciliation figures produced by the Service, including any late filing penalty, incorrect return, or FBR notice resulting from a decision made using this tool without independent verification.

8. Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update these terms, modify features, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via the Contact page. We may suspend or terminate an account for violation of these terms or the Acceptable Use section above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

11. Contact
